We aim to supply substantial meals and food that is enjoyed by the majority of our students though out the school day offering choice’s at lunch time.
All the statutory Nutritional Standards and also the dietary cultural or religious needs of students are met We achieve our Nutritional Standards and dietary requirements by purchase top quality ingredients, source lower fat meats use a pastry top of our homemade pies NOT top and bottom. This way we reduce the fat and carbohydrate content allowing us to use more protein in filling for the same number of calories, potato topping again reducing the use of pastry.
We also bake not fry food and adjust recipes reducing sugar, sat and fat content .We use locally sourced fresh vegetables and seasonal produce whenever possible
